Calumet Services Ltd was employed to carry out the installation and commissioning of new 90 bed Extra care facility. The building consists of 90 apartments with communal areas such as hairdressers, Commercial kitchen etc. The project consisted of the procurement, installation and commissioning of the following services.
- A new plantroom with district heating serving heat interface to each apartment.
- Each apartment has its own LST radiator system with domestic hot cold water to the kitchens and bathrooms.
- All apartments had MVR extra fan unit connecting to both kitchen and bathroom.
- New domestic services including CAT 5 water for the refuse store.
- Gas services from the plantroom to feed each boiler and a sub-branch serving the commercial kitchen.
- Within the communal units we installed heat recovery units with Air Conditioning.
- Above ground drainage systems.
- BMS systems.
- Full sprinkler coverage.
- Fully commissioned and chlorination.
