Calumet Services Ltd was appointed to undertake the design, installation and commissioning of the mechanical services associated with the development of four new flexible-use warehouse facilities at Langstone Park, Havant.
Langstone Park is an established major business hub on the South Coast, comprising approximately 480,000 sq. ft of flexible commercial workspace suitable for a diverse range of occupiers, including R&D, warehousing, laboratories, offices and data centres.
Delivered on a design and build basis, Calumet provided a fully coordinated mechanical services solution designed to support the flexible nature and future use of the new facilities.
THE MECHANICAL SERVICES PACKAGE INCLUDED:
- Design and installation of VRV air conditioning systems providing efficient heating and cooling.
- Complete ventilation systems serving the new warehouse and associated accommodation.
- Complete domestic water services.
- Plumbing and sanitaryware installations serving toilet and ancillary facilities.
- Water treatment of the completed mechanical services installations.
- Thermal insulation to associated pipework, ductwork and mechanical services.
- Full testing and commissioning of the installed systems.
The project demonstrates Calumet Services’ ability to deliver a fully coordinated design and build mechanical services package within a modern commercial and industrial development, providing efficient, adaptable building services capable of supporting a variety of future occupier requirements.
