Stone Yard is a new 1,000-home brownfield regeneration project in Digbeth, one of Birmingham’s most exciting and rapidly emerging areas. The development combines high-quality residential accommodation with a range of community-focused facilities, including commercial units, landscaped public spaces and improved links to local attractions. The new homes will be complemented by a comprehensive range of resident amenities, including co-working spaces, 24/7 gyms, studio spaces, lounges, and private dining rooms. The buildings and new public realm will be professionally operated by Moda, with a focus on service, technology, health, and wellbeing.
THE PROJECT CONSISTS OF THE SUPPLY
AND INSTALLATION OF THE FOLLOWING MECHANICAL SERVICES:
- Supply and installation of rainwater pipes (RWPs) to Blocks C, D, E and F.
- Supply and installation of soil and vent pipes (SVPs) to Blocks C, D, E and F.
- Supply and installation of the landlords boosted cold water services (BCWS) supply to 605 apartments.
- Supply and Installation of the Domestic Water services from the preformed Modular service cupboards to kitchens and bathrooms in 605no apartments.
- Thermal insulation to the RWP, SVP and BCWS systems.
- Acoustic insulation to designated sections of the ventilation system.
- Full coordination and installation of the mechanical services in accordance with the project specifications and required performance criteria.
- Works undertaken as part of the wider delivery of the mechanical infrastructure supporting the new residential development.
